REFERENCES: Search for information about all three of your assigned plants and find answers to the questions below. Find at least 3 references about each plant. At least one reference must be a book other than your textbooks (Fischer Ag-Sci Library has many good ones), and at least one reference must be from the WWW. The same reference may be used for more than one plant.

QUESTIONS:
  • What does each plant (a, b, and c) look like?
  • What growing conditions does each plant (a, b, and c) require?
  • Of the three possible plants (a, b, and c), which would you like to learn this semester and why?

WRITTEN REPORT:
    • Thoroughly explain your answer to each question by consolidating and paraphrasing the information you found in your references.  Use your own words.
    • Incorporate citations within the text to support your statements.
    • Include lists of references used for each plant using the Hort 231-2 format (see: Citation Information handout).
    • Use complete sentences, correct spelling, proper grammar, and font size of 12 or larger.
VISUAL AID(S): Bring a visual aid (not electronic) to share with your classmates.  Use it to emphasize your points.
