Abies concolor
White fir
Family:  Pinaceae
Abies concolor seed cones (Lohr)
Abies concolor male cones (Lohr)
Male cones, if you find them, are fascinating.  They can be red (resembling tiny raspberries) or yellow (resembling tiny ears of corn).
