In this class, this plant was previously listed as Viburnum
trilobum. Vibrunum trilobum is currently the name
most often used in the horticultural industry. Most botanical
sites list the plant as Viburnum opulus var. americanum.
A handful of botanical sites list the plant as Viburnum opulus
subsp. trilobum.
